Conscious of the need to provide its customers with a global product offer and greater reactivity, FRANCE GEOTHERMIE set up an in-house engineering department from 1996.
The feasibility of each project is studied by a qualified heating specialist so as to optimise the efficiency of the installation and the heating, cooling and/or air conditioning comfort of the residence.
The thermal survey comprises the calculation of heat loss room by room (as a function of insulation, base external temperature, etc) and a hydraulic survey. From this the overall dimensions of the installation are defined (number of metres of tubing, collectors, positions of future collectors, under-floor heating, radiators and/or fan convectors etc).
Together with this survey FRANCE GEOTHERMIE prepares plans for building work, electricity, plumbing and levelling, and for the layout and installation of the collector.
