FRANCE GEOTHERMIE proposes three types of heat emitters which are adapted to the special needs of your residence. Your geographical position:

>

>> Under-floor heating

provides the best heat diffusion regardless of the type of building: ideal, stable heat (35°C incoming water), with no air movement and no wall-mountings. Low temperature under-floor heating is the most efficient heat source on today's market.

An under-floor heating system comprises several collections of PEX tubing (cross-linked polyethylene) for a water circuit or copper piping for a "refrigerant" circuit, placed on an insulator and covered with a floating concrete layer 5 to 7 cm thick.
The flooring has an important influence on the dimensions of the under-floor heating system.
For example, tiling and a heating parquet provide very good heat and cold conduction, whereas thick wood flooring (except for some exotic wood) should be avoided.
PEX tubing for under-floor heating is guaranteed 25 years if it has CSTB (Building Industry Scientific and Technical Centre) approval.

>> Radiators

are made in a size that will use water at either high temperature (55°C) or low temperature (45°C at radiator inlet instead of 75°C as with a gas or fuel heater), for better comfort. They are perfectly suited to a room where under-floor heating is not possible, on an upper floor for example or in the case of a building renovation.
FRANCE GEOTHERMIE installs new hydro-cabled radiators (PEX tubing) or adapts a special connection to existing radiators in the case of renovations.

Furthermore since October 2005 FRANCE GEOTHERMIE is the only French company to offer a High Efficiency version in its Isara C HE, with 65 °C at the radiator inlet instead of 55 °C in high temperature.. This version is perfectly adapted to "standard" radiators and allows the heating system to be renewed without changing any radiators.

>> Fan convectors

allow heating, cooling and/or air conditioning while simultaneously treating the air in the room. Consequently the comfort and rapid increase in temperature in the room are optimised. This system is more compact than a radiator and allows a power range up to 5,800 W per heater. Fan convectors are especially suitable for heating buildings whose insulation does not comply with current Heat Regulations.
Connections are made using collectors and PEX tubing (cross-linked polyethylene). An electricity supply must be provided, and a drainage system for condensates in air-conditioning mode (water is created by condensation).
