The Technology
The production of DHW by direct expansion operates with R134A refrigerant in the evaporator (25m2 of buried external collector) and in the condenser (circuit around the water tank).
It is composed of a 300 litre capacity water tank fitted with a geothermal exchanger and a DHW generator.
This system allows the water to be heated to 60°C in 8 hours without additional electrical heating (back-up electrical heating may be used).
The power produced is 1.7 kW.
