Groundwater collection

The circuit collects heat in groundwater through a borehole which is usually 8m to 50 m deep, depending on the region. The heat pump collects energy contained in groundwater, which remains at a constant temperature all year (9°C to 12°C or more depending on the region), instead of in the soil as in horizontal collection. This system pumps water from a primary borehole upstream of the groundwater flow, then discharges it either into a second borehole or a soakaway downstream of the groundwater.
